![]() Not playing on radiant would mean you do not get the higher xp or the ability to run the same team though multiple darkest dungeon levels. Adding more free gold does nothing to speed the progress because you will be waiting for resolve xp. If you level 4 full teams you will gain way more heirlooms and gold than you can spend. Published Game Rant talks to developer Byte Barrel about Forgive Me Father's influences, as well as the upcoming retro shooter's comic book aesthetic. Red Hook have given their first public interview discussing the upcoming Darkest Dungeon 2 Lots to love, some things Im not yet sure about - lets take a q. For the most part, the game mechanics back up and reinforce this narrative thrust. We’ve got a number of ideas kicking around in this regard, but as of this interview, we’re focused entirely on DDII 1.0. Everything is tutorialized, and we’ve made a ton of improvements to the overall user experience in combat, relative to DD1. Our poor heroes beg not to be sent out or down into the wilds, yet we-callous leaders that we are-keep forcing them to imminent death for our own profit. Darkest Dungeon II boasts a new narrative, and a fundamentally different structure than DD1. Here's an old save file I found where I was on week 11 playing radiant in a single team challenge: So the primary theme of DD is the threat of death and the stress that places on the minds of adventurers. What radiant does is much more useful in that it lets the actual game progress faster by leveling up your heroes and locations faster and even letting you run a single team through the entire darkest dungeon. Adding more gold with cheats will not make radiant faster. It is not easier enemies, it is just faster progression. The way you speak about it it is unclear if you know what radiant mode is.
